Kellan accepting award for the Chemical Invetory Administrator Solution

Risk and Safety Solutions collected four awards today at the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (CSHEMA) conference. They are:

The Innovation Award of Merit for the Chemical Inventory Administrator Solution. This group of tools includes:

The Chemicals Dashboard, a robust tool for analysis and ad-hoc reporting that displays data on a variety of information collected from our chemical inventory application, including quantity, location, and size of chemical containers.

The California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) Report Dashboard, which collects and displays all the data that is required in CERS reporting in accordance with the designated template.

Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS), which provides administrators with information on the type, location, and quantity of Chemicals of Interest at all buildings on their campus.

Maximum Allowable Quantities (MAQ) report, which provides campus Fire Marshals with a real-time view of hazard-banded chemicals in a set “control area” (a collection of rooms in a building that is managed by the Fire Marshal).

The Innovation Award of Merit for the Pre-Inspection Report. This report has saved countless hours for lab inspectors at several UC campuses by providing a single place to find important information such as lab workers’ required training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which hazardous chemicals are in a lab, whether a lab's chemical inventory has been certified as required, which findings inspectors had noted during a previous inspection and if and when those findings have been corrected.

The Marketing Award of Merit for the Safety Spotlight newsletter.

The Marketing Award of Honor for the 2017 Risk Summit campaign.

We are grateful to CSHEMA for recognizing our team's work to help make campuses safer and more compliant!
